Dr. Alling was born and raised in Connecticut before attending Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas then completed his internship and residency in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Ohio State University Medical Center and Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and is currently a member of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Alling began practicing Internal Medicine and Pediatrics with the Canandaigua Medical Group in 1999.
Dr. Alling and his wife, Sally, reside in Canandaigua and have two children, Ryan and Sarah. An Ohio State and a Boston Red Sox fan, Dr. Alling enjoys spending time with his family, boating, swimming, working in the yard, and home-grilled foods.
Jody joined the Canandaigua Medical Group in 2014 as a Nurse Practitoner in Pediatrics. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, AANP. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Niagara University and her Master’s Degree from St John Fisher College. Ms. Delaney is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and an adjunct faculty member at St. John Fisher College, School of Nursing.
Ms. Delaney started her career in Pediatrics in 2000 at the Golisano Children’s Hospital. While there she worked in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, as part of the Pediatric Transport Team and in multiple other pediatric roles. She also polished her skills in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Rochester General Hospital. Jody will be transitioning to work full-time in the Med/Peds Department at Canandaigua Medical Group beginning in the spring of 2016.
Since receiving her Master’s Degree, Jody has been practicing in a local Urgent Care, and seeing patients in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Internal Medicine.
